Orbital Membership

Engage is looking for new Orbital Members!

Orbital Membership entitles artists, access to curator visits, group shows, a web site profile, members events, access to the studio facilities, use of the gallery and workshop, Hot Desk, Library, Equipment etc. Orbital Membership is suited to artists who may have home studios or live outside of the city who want to keep connected to a network of professional artists and have access to studio facilities and members opportunities. It is also open to artists in surrounding counties.The cost of orbital membership is €150 per year .  

Orbital Membership is open to practising visual artists who fulfill the selection criteria and agree to adhere to the rules of Engage and code of conduct.

To apply to be an Orbital Member, please send the following information.

• Some information about your practice at the moment, and why you would like to be an Orbital Member at Engage (max 250 words)

• Up to date CV (max 2 pages)

• 5 current examples of your work.

• Please compile all this information into one pdf document

Applicants must be 18 years or over, be practising visual artists with a minimum of a degree in Fine Art and have been selected for a minimum of three juried/curated exhibitions. Applicants must demonstrate an active art practice.

Submissions will be assessed by the Engage management, and judged on their artistic quality, and the applicants capacity to be an active member of the organisation. We limit the amount of Orbital Members that we have at any given time, to ensure that we can use our limited resources to provide the best experience and value for money to those members. We expect there will be a high volume of submissions, and as a small organization, we are unfortunately unable to give personalised feedback on your submission. We hope to make our decision early in August.
