Code of Conduct of Engage Art Studios
Inform Management of any issues arising as soon as is reasonably possible e.g. damaged equipment, accidental spills, incidents etc.
Turn off the computers after use and keep the office area tidy and clean
No rubbish is to be left in the communal areas and no objects left obstructing the stairways and fire exits and all members are responsible for maintaining outside their studio area as clean and presentable
All members are responsible for the disposal of their own refuse and for exercising due care in communal areas and in studio workspaces
All members are responsible for maintaining their own workspace in such a way that adheres to health and safety regulations both for members and for visitors
Under no circumstances do members divulge information re: codes or give keys to non-members or allow access to the studio workspace by non studio members unless accompanied by a studio member.
The main door in Francis St is to be kept locked at all times. The down stairs door should be locked outside of normal business hours.
The front door of Churchfields should be kept locked outside of Gallery Opening hours. The gate should be locked by the last person leaving.

Both buildings occupied by Engage are non-smoking spaces, in accordance with the The Public Health (Tobacco) Act 2002 that includes no smoking in studio workspaces or in hallways or stairwells
Studio members and their guests should not be intoxicated while in the studios
Communal Kitchen areas are provided and are to be cleaned after use
No loud music
The studio workspaces are working spaces and are not for residential use
If you are the last to leave, ensure all the lights are off, doors are locked
Keep sinks clear and ensure taps are fully turned off when not using them
Exercise due care and caution in the use of materials
All members provide the Management with an up to date biography (max. 120 words) and up to date images of work once a year to be used on our website and for grant applications
Equipment (e.g. camera, ) and tools are to be signed in and out via the Manager. Communal studio tools (e.g. ladder, drill, tape measure, etc.) are for use only in the studios and should be returned to Tool Press when not in use. The Manager should be contacted if tools are required off-site. All equipment and tools are for artistic use only
Under no circumstances whatsoever is a studio member to illegally download any material using the studios’ WIFI broadband connection.
No money is to be spent on behalf of Engage Art Studios without the express prior consent from the Director.
